Werner Hammer
Lead vocals & guitar
Werner gives Soulmatic its voice and brings the stories and musical ideas behind our original songs. His guitar playing combines blues feeling with funk and reggae grooves.
The people behind Soulmatic.
Blues at the roots, rock in our sound, and plenty of room for funk, soul and reggae. Soulmatic brings original songs to life through the joy of playing together.
Based in Germany’s Westerwald region, we make music with a personal touch. On stage, it’s about feel, dynamics and connecting with the audience.
Iânderson de Almeida “Ian”
Guitar
Originally from Brazil, Ian joined Soulmatic in August 2026. Together with Werner, he shapes the interplay of the two guitars, blending rhythm and melody with room for spontaneous ideas.
Franz Zobel
Bass
Franz provides the foundation on bass. Together with Ralf, he connects rhythm and harmony, keeping the songs moving from relaxed reggae to driving boogie.
Ralf Eul
Drums & backing vocals
Ralf brings pulse, dynamics and drive to the band. Alongside Franz, he forms Soulmatic’s rhythm section and complements Werner’s lead voice with backing vocals.
Original songs. Together on stage.
Our music can be powerful and rocking, relaxed and danceable, or quiet and heartfelt. Original material is at the heart of our set, alongside selected songs by artists who have inspired us. See us live · Music & videos
